01) File / New / 600 x 450 px / transparent

change your FGC to: #ffffff

and your BGC to: #da9a82

flood fill your picture with this gradient:

02) Effects / Plugins / Flaming Pear / Flood:
colour: #e1ac98 (your dark colour)

03) Layers / Duplicate

Image / Flip

change the opacity of this layer to: 50

Layers / Merge / Merge visible

04) open the tube: antique_pocket_watch3.png

Edit / Copy
close the picture again, we don't need it anymore
back to your picture

Edit / Paste / Paste as a new layer

05) Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize:

06) Effects / Image Effects / Seamless Tiling:

change the opacity of this layer to: 50

and the blend mode to: Soft Light

Layers / Merge / Merge visible

07) Window / Duplicate (or Shift + D)

minimize the copy for now

back to your picture:

08) Layers / New Raster Layer

flood fill this layer with your FGC: #ffffff (your light colour)

09) Selections / Select all

Selections / Modify / Contract to: 2 px

Edit / Cut

Selections / Invert

Layers / 3D Effects / Drop Shadow:

Layers / Merge / Merge visible

10) open the tube: bluefay_vorlage1.png

Edit / Copy
close the tube again, we don't need it anymore
